is an opportunity to celebrate the unique power of the bicycle and the many reasons we ride. Whether you bike to work or school; to save money or time; to preserve your health or the environment; to explore your community or get to your destination, get involved in Bike Month in your city or state — and help get more people in your community out riding too! Need some ideas? The Vernal Equinox

Ah, spring! This season brings increasing daylight, warming temperatures, and the rebirth of flora and fauna.

The word equinox is derived from the Latin words meaning “equal night.” Days and nights are approximately equal everywhere and the Sun rises and sets due east and west. [SOURCE]

Learning that’s fun for kids …and easy for parents!

While at work, making a JibJab video with a co-worker,  I noticed a banner ad promoting their new site, StoryBots, specifically for kids & parents. After doing some investigating, I found that not only does the site offer the same great video entertainment that JibJab offers, but that they also have numerous mobile apps, games, and activity sheets. Below you’ll find a brief company overview and also a cool video about the letter B!

Company Overview

StoryBots is a new multi-platform, personalized entertainment and educational franchise. It is created by brothers Evan and Gregg Spiridellis, Internet pioneers and co-creators of one of the web’s most recognized brands, JibJab. “Our vision for StoryBots is to build hundreds of products in the coming years that kids will love and parents can feel great about,” explain the brothers. “We want StoryBots to be the equivalent of Sesame Street for a connected generation.” [via/ Facebook]
