FIRST LOOK: MY FIRST SNOWMAN

“It’s me, Tyler!” was recently contacted by University of Michigan’s Becoming Educators of Tomorrow (B.E.T.), an organization focused on diversity in education, to create a guided reading book tailored towards First Graders. On Friday, December 9, 2011, B.E.T. will be donating It’s me, Tyler’s – MY FIRST SNOWMAN book to the entire first grade class at Adams S.T.E.M. Academy (Science, Technology Engineering, Mathematics) in Ypsilanti, MI.

“We are very fortunate to be able to give books to Adams Academy’s first grade classrooms. We hope to help build their home library and show them ways to practice reading at home. We’re truly thankful for Mark Askin and his vision to create literacy resources for children of color.”
